Our SQL and SPL Rule Books for 2018 are being prepared by our Rule & Ethics Committee.

The SQL Rule Book is being scrutinized for clarity and understanding regarding class requirements, especially focused on front stage speaker sizes and placements.  We will post the 2018 Rule Book for a 1 week evaluation period by the Members, changes if needed, and then make it official.  We should have this posted by December 11th.

The SPL Rule Book work concerns keeping up with technology, and the trend toward “cheap” power, up-dates and clarifications for classes that require better descriptive text.  Christmas is our intended date to post the SPL Rule Book, with a 1 week evaluation period by the Members, changes if needed, and then it become official.

All Members are welcome to provide input on any issues.  Some suggestions we get are good, but do not belong in the Rule Book, but, rather in a business or club plan of action.  All suggestions are appreciated and reviewed.

This is the last call for Rule Book suggestions for 2018.

Thanks to our Rules & Ethics Committee for their diligence and time:
