For all traveling to Daytona Beach, FL for SBN30, the excitement of the spring sound-off season is strong.  It’s a new season with many people to meet and greet at MECA events, and car SQL and SPL audio contests that are fun and fair.  SBN really kicks off the season, and 1000’s of people are headed for Spring Break and at the Ocean Center in Daytona.  This is the 30th annual mobile electronics event that creator and director Paul Papadeas has organized.  With the renewed interest and sales in car audio gear, the timing is perfect for this celebration of all things car audio.

MECA’s Florida Event Director Drew Wesley is in charge of judging in the SPL lanes, with Morgan Miller and others, and SQL Head Judge Geoff Schneider from Ohio, will be joined by SBN veteran Justin Polk, a SQL World Champion, and “new ears”  on the team, Russell Jones, both from Florida.

Judging for SPL and SQL classes is happening both Saturday and Sunday.  Day of show entry fee is $105 for each class.  BOBOS entry fee is $295.

Thanks to Paul and Moe & Kim Sabourin, and their crew, for doing the work necessary to have an enormous event like this, and including our club and contests in the mix.
